Hi, everyone. I'm a 3D General Artist from Shanghai, China, and I wish to improve my English language skills. My objective is to learn standard English that will help me work in an English-speaking country, like the UK, America or Canada.
My first language is Chinese, and my English level might be around A2. As a result, I’m afraid my English fluency is not great. So, I would love for you to be patient with me as we practice and exercise our language skills together to improve communication. My short-term goal is to pass the IELTS Life Skills test in January.
So, I think we need a plan. Let me share my idea with you.
First, we all need a main course (you need to find it yourself). Each topic should include some dialogues, grammar, chunks, and vocabulary that can help us learn and practice our language skills.
Second, we might meet two or three times a week. Before that, you’ll need to practice and try to remember what you’ve learned. Then, each of us will have 45 minutes to practice using the language we want, and after that, we will switch. I think we should leave 15 minutes at the end to review everything we've learned. My suggestion is to try explaining to me in the target language what you've learned, or in your native language, imagining I’m a student. So, I think the total time should be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Based on our meeting time, I believe finishing the meeting on time is important. Let's remind ourselves not to prepare too much material and to remember to review so we can master what we learn. Although it's important to correct mistakes, it's impossible to do it every time. Let's just do our best.
Third, we need to send the material to each other via email before our meeting and schedule an appointment.
Overall, I don’t mind if you repeat the same topic again and again, as long as you're learning something valuable.
Let me repeat the process: prepare the material → schedule an appointment earlier, two or three times a week → we practice for 45 minutes and review for 15 minutes → then find a chance to repeat the topic.
Oh, I almost forgot about a social media app. Google Meet is good; it can display subtitles, and the time limit for a meeting is 24 hours. You don't need to install any software. If you don't mind, we can use it. Do you have any other suggestions?
If we're cool with this, let's start. I'm waiting for you.

Hello! I'm learning French since I want to move to France in the future, but I'm a beginner for now. I also learned Japanese as a hobby, currently at N3/intermediate level. I'm happy to help you out with your English! It will help both of us if we have something in common, so here are my interests:
I love film analysis and film history: Kurosawa, Bergman, Billy Wilder, old Hollywood classics... Some more modern directors I love are Park Chan-wook, Fincher, and Cronenberg. Please share your favorite older movies with me! Besides that, I also enjoy silly TV shows like House, the Office, IASIP, and more.
I also love history, literature, and philosophy. There is a lot I have yet to read, and I would love it if you'd help me out by telling me about your country's classics!
We can text on any platform you like. I am happy to send voice messages in English as well for your listening practice if you like. If we become comfortable with each other, we can maybe call! All ages/genders are welcome as long as we have something to talk about :)
I live in Dubai, so my timezone is GMT+4. I prefer longer/well thought out responses, and I don't mind waiting for replies. Instant messaging and expecting immediate replies is not something I am interested in.

Hi! I’m Fathi, living in Dubai, UAE. I’m a software developer who enjoys creating apps and learning about new technologies. I spend a lot of my time exploring programming, improving my skills, and working on interesting projects.
I speak Arabic as my native language and I’m currently practicing English, Filipino (Tagalog), and Hindi. I love learning languages because it helps me connect with people from different cultures and understand the world better.
In my free time, I enjoy coding, reading about technology, learning new things, and meeting new people. I also like sharing knowledge and helping others when I can.
I’m looking for language partners who want to practice, share ideas, and have fun while learning together. I believe language exchange is a great way to make friends and improve skills at the same time.

Hi,do you wanna do one hour language exchange by video calls with me?
