I am extremely passionate about languages/culture and how it can help us to develop a much wider understanding of every aspect of life and help to build meaningful relationships with other people. With this in mind, my goal is to be able to take in the culture, language, and perspective of others with an open and curious mind, and to also be able to teach and share my own culture, language, and experience through history, music, philosophy, and other disciplines. I want to be able to foster a sense of "cultural counterpoint"; that is, the ability to see the same basic object via several lenses at once, something which can be a direct outcome of the language learning process. If this sounds good to anybody, and you would like to become a friend, please don't hesitate to reach out- I would especially be happy to meet anybody in person!
I really love Steve Kaufmann and his respective methods in particular, and I would love to find others who share a similar enthusiasm for languages and in particular enjoy the process of learning. There are also several other polyglots/language enthusiasts whom I enjoy and I will be happy to name as well :)
My German is at a C2 level, my Spanish is just right below, my Portuguese somewhere just under that, and my Ukrainian and Polish are somewhere in the middle (chcę zdać egzamin języka polskiego na poziomie B2 w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat)
Met het Nederlands ben ik nog en beginner, maar ik find deze taal eekt leuk (i gemakkelijk) ook ik will een dag uit Polen naar Nederland verhuizen :)
I would, in any case, like to refine all of the aforementioned languages to an extremely high level (with the goal of at some point being able to pass an advanced exam for all of those )

I'm a native German speaker, and I've been learning English for about 6 years!
My current French level is A2-B1, and I recently began to learn Chinese. I'm not familiar with Hanzi Characters for now, but I'm consistently studying them!
My goal is to improve my French and Chinese, so I can communicate while traveling.
I usually love to go shopping with friends or visit local festivals. Otherwise, I love to watch anime or to read, especially fantasy or a love trope XD!!

Work & Study: I have a degree in English Literature, but I believe self-study is the best! I teach English on my YouTube "Englisi Too Seh Soot" channel (in 36 sessions) and know CELPIP exam rules. I was also a nursing assistant for 2 years.

I speak Finnish, English, some Swedish and I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school (I understand more than I can speak).
I'd like to learn Korean, and maybe talk to someone in Spanish so I wouldn't forget the language completely. Would also be nice to just speak English with someone :)
As an opposite to my busy work atmosphere, I enjoy relaxing in my free time, for example playing games or watching series.
