Hello! My name is Daniel, and Iâm delighted to connect with fellow language enthusiasts here. Originally from the beautiful country of Croatia, Iâve been calling the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington my home for the past 25 years. Iâm 38 years young and live with my adorable 5 cats and 2 dogs who keep life interesting!
My academic journey in English and Applied Linguistics has been quite fulfilling. Iâve spent 5 amazing years teaching English as a Second Language at the University level, where I discovered my passion for languages and cultural exchange.
Professionally, I currently lead a dynamic team at Amazon, focusing on managing Enterprise accounts with a particular interest in assisting non-profit organizations. I am currently working towards my MBA at Boston University.
When it comes to languages, Iâm fluent in English, and strong in Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian. Iâm thrilled to offer my expertise in English and Croatian and equally excited to learn Chinese Mandarin or Tibetan. My goal is to improve as I plan a trip to visit China and Tibet in the coming years.
In my free time, youâll find me indulging in a variety of hobbies. I love horse riding, boating for a good catch, and hiking with my dogs through the scenic trails around Seattle.

Hi! My name is Nina. I'm 19 years old. I'm studying architecture in Belgrade. I'm from Serbia, so Serbian was in my installation package. I learned English since I was around five, and have official C2 level proficiency. I understand German well, but I have trouble with grammar when speaking. I started learning Chinese a few months ago. I finished two Chinese courses at ćććŠéą, and will continue to attend them. I like to travel, last summer I solo backpacked Europe for a month. I have a lot of interests, so anything from cooking, to movies, books, research, history is interesting to me.

I am a uni student who is obsessed with history, reading, and learning languages.
My native language is Serbian (the ijekavian dialect), but if you need help with ekavian, it's not a problem for me to switch to that dialect. I learnt Russian for few years, but now I am learning Greek and Spanish.
