Bonjour! Je m'appelle Louise. Je vis au Québec, Canada, mais je suis originaire de l'Ontario, ce qui fait de moi une personne aussi à l'aise en français qu'en anglais. Je suis en train d'étudier l'espagnol (niveau B2) et j'aimerais beaucoup avoir l'occasion de m'exercer à parler l'espagnol avec un(e) natif(ve).Je suis motivée à perfectionner mon espagnol car je passe une bonne partie de mes hivers au Panama. I am a French native speaker, in my late forties, learning Mandarin Chinese and looking for friendly language exchange partners.
My goal is to improve my understanding of natural Mandarin — especially everyday expressions, tone, and the way native speakers really communicate. I enjoy learning not only vocabulary and grammar, but also cultural nuances and ways of thinking behind the language.
I can help with French in return, and I am also very comfortable communicating in English if that makes the exchange easier.
I prefer respectful and relaxed conversations. Slow and thoughtful exchanges are perfectly fine — quality matters more than speed.
