Hi, I'm Eric. I was born in New York City, but now live in Colorado, USA. I visit Japan once or twice every year (of course, I have not been since the start of the pandemic, but I hope to visit again soon). I have been to Tokyo (many times), Osaka, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Sendai, Hakuba, Himeji, Fukui, Nagoya, and several other places, and am always eager to experience new places and events in Japan.

Nihongo wo amari hanasemasen. I have been learning from an app, but would love to find a real person to have conversations with. Someone who is not shy about correcting me when I say silly things. :)

I would also like to brush up on my French. I used to speak it fairly well, but that was years ago, and I am out of practice.

Finally, I’d love to visit Russia someday, so I want to learn some Russian. But I am an absolute beginner with the Russian language.
