Hei!
I'm glad you found my profile. I've been learning Norwegian very intensively for about 1 1/2 years now and while my listening and reading comprehension is quite good, I unfortunately lack opportunities to speak in Norwegian on a regular basis. I want to pass the C1 exam in Bergen next year and therefore urgently need regular conversation in Norwegian. I hope to find some person who has the time and willingness to speak Norwegian with me on a regular basis - just to get some practice. In return, as a native German speaker, I can help you speak German. I would like to focus on speaking, but if you need e.g. texts corrected, I can also help you with that.
Ideally, we would meet regularly via Zoom or Skype to speak German and Norwegian together. I would advocate that we always speak to each other in either Norwegian or German and not mix the two languages. I'm happy to correct you and would love for you to do the same, but I'm also perfectly fine with us just talking to each other. As for the topics, I am relatively open. We can also watch a series, clips or YouTube videos in the appropriate language and talk about it. I am very flexible and I am ready to do anything that will improve my speaking ability. Since I am very serious about my language goals, we would be a particularly good match if we were similarly ambitious.
Now something about me: I am 25 years old, I study philosophy and Scandinavian studies and I spend most of my time reading, studying, with my girlfriend and our dog. I also jog regularly with our dog and do weight training to keep fit. I used to play a lot of computer games, but now I unfortunately lack the time. I'm interested in a whole range of topics and it's hard for me to commit to just a few things, but in the last months and years I've probably been most thematically involved with the following things: Norwegian, philosophy, language acquisition, Scandinavian culture, history, psychology, environmental issues and Sami culture. Nevertheless, I am open to most topics and we can talk about anything.
