I'm a native English speaker in my 40s. I'm a rhetoric and creative writing professor in the US, so if you're looking for practice reading or writing or will require a high level of fluency in English for academics or business, I'll be able to help. I'm traveling to Europe next summer and would like to go to Germany. I'd like to be able to practice weekly at least--I've been using Duolingo for over a year, so I've got a lot of the basic vocabulary and sentence structure down, but I'm still struggling to speak even a little. I also have some occasional short-term memory issues, so I'll likely need quite a bit of repetition to make new material stick. Sorry in advance if that gets old! I like animals a lot (that's my best girl, Ripley, in my profile pic!) and books.
