Hi, I'm Nor!
I'm a Japanese speaker based in Japan, looking for language exchange partners who are serious about actually speaking — so I'm specifically looking for someone up for weekly online sessions together.
I'll be temporarily staying in Hungary / Poland / (possibly Belgium) / Taiwan in the coming years for work — local tips and insights on living there are more than welcome! 🙏

🌍 Languages I'm learning:
* 🇭🇺 Hungarian — Just started! (a few words so far...)
* 🇵🇱 Polish — Complete beginner
* 🇬🇧 English — Conversational (have lived in English-speaking countries)
* 🇨🇳 Chinese (Mandarin) — Beginner

* Japanese conversation & listening practice
* Open discussions on culture, politics, sports, global topics — in Japanese or English
* A reliable study partner who actually shows up 😄
(Fair warning: I naturally speak Japanese quite fast — but I'll slow down for you!)

📅 How I'd like to study:
Weekly online sessions (Zoom / Google Meet / etc.)
* Preferred: Tuesday or Thursday, around 20:30–21:30 JST
* Other times? Feel free to suggest!

🎌 A little about me: I'm into Japanese tea ceremony (茶道), kimono & Japanese sewing (和裁), and I love traveling — I've visited around 30 countries and enjoy exploring Japan too. Happy to talk culture anytime!

💬 One more thing — I'm in my late 30s, so my conversation style tends to be on the calmer, more thoughtful side. If you're looking for someone to practice casual slang or Gen-Z expressions, I'm probably not your best match — but if you enjoy relaxed, mature conversations, we'll get along just fine! 😊
