Language.Exchange

Hi! You can call me Gene. I've been staying here in Taipei for almost a year already. I am a junior researcher at Academia Sinica (中央研究院). Communicating in English has never been a problem for me. I have an excellent command of oral and written English. I would like to be well-versed in speaking Chinese (Mandarin). Thus, if you'd like to learn English (whether for conversational or academic/examination purposes), we can do a language exchange! I think Chinese/Mandarin is interesting to learn, so I really want to give it a try. I'd also love to visit and learn of the places here in Taiwan. If you need help in improving and polishing your essays, I'd love to help on that too!

I am available for a language exchange over coffee at weeknights or more preferably during weekends. On the other hand, I also love to watch movies. While it may not interest you, I also like science related topics. If in case you'd like to hear about some Biology or Chemistry, that would be cool!

P.S. I'd love to learn Spanish too. If you know some (or well-versed) Spanish, let me know as well!
