My husband and I are retired. Everything in life is fine, thank God. We want to speak a little English. I propose a specific communication scheme. We choose one or two days a week, the time (preferably in the evening) and meet via video link. We prepare a theme for each meeting - my childhood, hobbies, work, last trip, favorite book, painting, actor.... you can start with small texts of about 500-600 characters or 100 words. First, you pronounce your text in Russian and work through it. I ask the questions slowly and clearly, and you answer. Then we switch roles. Or vice versa. So no one will be offended. We've been working with you for 20-30 minutes and with me for the same amount of time.
