Hi!
After being in Vancouver my whole adult life, I've been living in Victoria for the past couple of years - my partner got a job at the University here, and I've been looking after our two young children and doing contract work (a little bit of writing, plus consulting for non-profits and artists organizations) when I can.
I've been studying Japanese (mostly for reading knowledge) on my own for a little over two years - I'm hoping to do archival research in Japan once travel is possible again. I have experience teaching English at the university level, so I'm looking forward to helping with your English, too!
I have decent reading knowledge of French - my father is bilingual, and my paternal grandparents were francophone, but growing up on the west coast I very rarely had opportunities to speak. I'd love opportunities to practice!
