I’ve been learning English for quite a long time, but I'm not used to speaking English.
I understand simple Korean, but I can’t read and write at all. I want to be able to speak at least basic Korean!!

NorueguêsHello! My name is Sophia and I am in my final year of study in high school. I live in the South Island of New Zealand. I was originally born in Australia and have also lived in England when I was younger. I absolutely love travelling and am very excited to talk to new people.
My current interests are reading, watching movies, playing video games and exercise, I also love learning new things especially history related. I live with my mother, step-farther and half sister. We have a pet dog called Rufus, a pet cat called Dave, a fish called Neeko and an aquatic snail (it lives in the fishtank) called Argos.
I am looking for someone to practice Norwegian with. I have a very basic knowledge at the moment but am willing to learn and will use a translator when I have to! I hope to make some new friends and get better with my norwegian along the way. :)

I'm doing a PhD in machine learning and biomedicine at Vic uni at the moment, but I'm hoping to find a job overseas once I'm done. I'm a native English speaker. I've been practising German since I was a kid and I studied it in undergrad, so I think I'm probably intermediate level. I've been on exchange to France, so I've practised French a fair amount but I'm not very conversational yet. I also want to learn Chinese, Japanese, Arabic (modern standard) and Spanish but I haven't had the chance to practice these much. I'm interested in language-learning more generally so am open to practising with anyone who wants to work on their English! Practising in-person would be ideal for me.
