My name is Shikera and I live in the state of Georgia in the USA. I am very interested in learning Korean, but I find self study alone to be frustrating. I am a criminal defense attorney. My native language is English and I also know ASL. My hobbies include all things science fiction and watching soccer games. Because of covid I, like much of the world have been locked in my house for quite a while now. I wanted to study Korean for quite a while now, but pre covid I never seemed to have much time. Now that life as slowed down, I find that I have the time. I'm using Youtube videos and Talk to Me in Korean to learn, but as I said, I can't ask questions when I don't understand so I need real life help. Of course, I would be able to share my know of the English language as well. Perhaps make a friend or two. I plan on traveling to Korea in 2022, if things are back to normal and I would love to learn the language. My goal is to become fluent, although I know that will not happen in a year. If anyone is interested in partnering with me that would be really great. I look forward to meeting you.
