Hi! I am a Ph.D. student in Neuroscience. I like playing badminton, watching animes (Samurai Champloo is my favorite) and reading literature (I have just read the Romance of the Three Kingdom, the version by Mitsuteru Yokoyama). Although I have been in the US for 5 years, I feel my English skill is still premature. Practicing English will definitely improve my life as an international student, which is why I started using this service. I'm a software engineer, and in my spare time I'm working on learning at least a couple of languages (Japanese and Mandarin for now, maybe more later). I find learning grammar easy and memorizing new words easy, but I learned in Japan how hard it is to hear and pronounce another language skillfully.
Some of my hobbies are travelling, hiking, and video games.
